For Jamaal Clayborn, construction has always been a part of his life, having been strongly impacted by a grandfather who was a residential contractor. This, along with playing football from a young age, became the source of his strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, discipline and perseverance. It was a natural course for the former Mississippi State starting center to take when he founded Clayborn Construction, LLC, in 2018. With passion, persistence and ambition, Jamaal developed his company first as a site preparation contractor and has evolved it into a successful paving and road construction business.
